The Process
Step 1: Apply Electronically
Submit your Digital Nomad Visa application online.
Step 2: Attend an In-Person Interview
Interview at a Brazilian Consulate abroad or in Brazil.
Step 3: Apply for and Receive Your RNE (Brazilian Foreigner's ID Card)
Once approved, register for your RNE (Registro Nacional de Estrangeiros).

Criminal record clearance with apostille — From your country of residence
Certified birth certificate with apostille — Must be issued within the last 6 months

Letter stating your reason for applying for the visa — Personal statement required
Letter confirming you will not work for a Brazilian company — Required declaration
Passport photo — As per Brazilian consulate specifications
