What's the difference between TR only and TR + Cédula?
The cédula (national ID) is required for many activities in Paraguay — opening bank accounts, registering for taxes (RUC), signing leases, and more. Most clients choose the TR + Cédula option.
Can I work in Paraguay with temporary residency?
Yes, with the proper permits. If you are running an online business with foreign-source income, that income is not taxed in Paraguay regardless.
